The problem is that kids do not walk or (especially) cycle to school .This proposal does nothing to change that. It is a sticking plaster not a root cause solution. It is better to provide proper cycle lane provision to a few school areas than ineffective planters to many school areas.

This scheme is well detailed and a perfect solution to ongoing problems. It should be considered for all Nottingham schools both inside and outside of the city boundary ie. Carlton Ken B
